Thrifty & Vintage Finds.....

Do you ever get that little interval voice that says to you that today is the day that you must check out a particular op shop?

Well after a busy morning on Monday and Sarah not napping we needed a change of scenery so, I risked the no-napping little miss and packed us up for a drive.

Our little drive paid off with a nice afternoon tea and sweet treasures found. I had not visited this store before and I was pleasantly surprised with it being one of those small op shops that you need to search every nook and cranny because there is stuff everywhere.

The straw bag is small, but so sweet. I could very well imagine using it with a sweet summer dress for lunch with just the very few essential items in there.

As for the Florida flamingo pendant, I just love it to bits I saw it at the last minute at the counter, as everything else was getting priced and tallied up.

Thrifted & Vintage Finds.....

Ben sent me for coffee this morning child free to just sit and be after a rough week and that is where I am as I tap out this post for you today. This weeks finds are from any op shopping adventures this week (thanks to the rough week). But they are from a recent op shop visit when I also picked up the scarf and pendant I shared a few weeks back and some of you liked. So I just wanted to share three lovely belts I've add to my collection. I nabbed them for a dollar each.

I particularly like the black belt at the top, it's genuine leather and the detail on the buckle is interesting. With my wardrobe in the midst of change from the last four years of pregnancy, belts and especially belts of the vintage kind are in short supply in my wardrobe. So these are a great addition to my arsenal and are all in fantastic condition.
