Button Revamp an Old Cardigan....

Although it is now officially autumn, the weather here in Queensland is throwing curve balls all over the place. One day it's hot, the next day or even the same day it's raining, some days you can get away wearing jeans and others you're cursing and wondering why you didn't wear something lighter.

One thing that is for sure either way is it is slowly starting to cool down. I love the cooler months and I've started pulling out my vintage cardies and pullovers for an airing and some of my non-vintage ones are in need of some revamping.

Like this grey cardigan it's grey and it's rather blah and boring, don't you think? So I wanted to find some way of giving it some oomph and more wearable and appealing to me and my tastes.

So I had a rummage through my craft supplies and vintage buttons and kept things simple with a little button revamp, but I think the results were worth it.

With a few vintage buttons in navy and retro yellows I think this cardigan has taken on a whole new life. I'll certainly trying more button revamps in the future.

Very cute! Amazing how something as simple as a few buttons can make such a big difference.

I know and now I feel like doing it to all my plain cardies to quirk them up.
