My Fabulous Finds are floral.....

One of things that I had recently been looking forward to with start to the new year, was helping the lovely volunteers at my favourite op shop move location this past week. I had offered my assistance with the impending move before Christmas and I was all pencilled in to be all hands on deck to help. But unfortunately with my health and docs orders, work of that nature is out of the question.

I had hoped I would be bringing you behind the scene snap shoots and sweet finds, but it wasn't to be, but thankfully I've made some gorgeous friends in these volunteers that they understand health comes first. Not to worry I can help with some morning tea for the opening of the new location instead, at least that will make me feel useful.

So with that all being said thrifting adventures also did not occur this week. But do you know what I do have, I have all sorts of gems tucked away here and there at home that haven't had their limelight on the blog. A little something I've been dying to show you all is this lovely Myott cup and saucer set (it's a sweet set of four) that my dearest from Things I Do, scored and gifted me for Christmas.
I'm in love with the yellow and purple and coincidentally one of my Instagram buddies only days prior to me receiving these, posted a snap of the exact same print in the matching teapot, perhaps a virtual tea party is to be had.......hmmmm there's an idea.

Have you been back into the swing of things with thrifting adventures or are you slow getting off the mark?

  1. It's a shame to have to take a back seat with activities while your health isn't so good, but it's the right thing to do, of course!
    Gorgeous little cup and saucer.
I am trying NOT to go charity shopping much this month, January is always a financial killer so I need to keep what little money I have in my pocket, unfortunately! xxxxx

    1. It's a bit of a bugger having to take a back seat but I guess it's the universes way of making me slow down. I'm with you too, my op shopping spending will be limited for the next month or so as the new year is always very tight.

  3. I for one am glad you didn't push yourself trying to help with the op shop move, your bodies needs are too important. I hope they had plenty of hands on deck without you. Love the cups & saucer....the retro floral pattern is just gorgeous. I hope there will be plenty of exciting treasures in store for you when you return to you local oppy's. The op shops around here have been so quite, but FULL of good stuff. I seem to have bought so much everytime I go! Just finding the space for it is always the next problem! Hehe. Xx

    1. I know, I know you're my little void of reason at the moment in this leggy world. You have certainly been doing well with the start of the new year with sweet finds.
