Here we come 2014, but before we do here's to 2013......

Wow 2013, you've been incredible, at least that's how I'm feeling about my year. I've never been busier or more fulfilled in my life than I have been this year. As I look back I'm actually stunned at what I've managed to do and achieve in the last twelve months. Here's a look at some of this years highlights:

In February I cheekily announced we were expecting another baby and donned my most fabulous 1950's frock for the occasion.

Whilst pregnant this year every spare bit energy and time I've had, has gone into establishing my business. I took on a small display at a friends florist shop, which has been a very successful arrangement and continues to be. We've even managed markets whilst I was pregnant and one since Fraser's arrival. My Etsy store was launched a few weeks before Fraser's birth and my first Etsy sale happened the day he was born. I couldn't be happier with my efforts this year and I'm looking forward to 2014 with just as much drive and determination.

I've shared very private moments and personal messages to myself. You've encouraged and supported me and have been so kind with your words and understanding.

Finally I've shared the joy with you of the arrival of our littlest man Fraser, who fills us up and completes our family like the last piece in a massive jigsaw puzzle. A jigsaw puzzle that has been knocked off the table and pieced back to together countless times over the last six years. But we got there and the last piece fell into place and we are blessed beyond all measure and comprehension.

So there we have it a glimpse at 2013 with all it's joys, and beyond that there's been plenty of other fun, treasures and laughter too. I hope as the day closes on the year that was 2013 for you that you are filled with hope and wonder for the year ahead. May your new year be a safe and happy one with your souls desires fulfilled. Thank you all from the very bottom of my heart for all your kindness, support, love and friendship, I wish only the very best for you in 2014.

First off, I am totally swooning, in love with that dress! Oh my 50s gorgeousness! Second, a Thank you. Thank you for sharing your world and the inspiration. When ever I doubt myself about starting a sewing business, somehow a post of yours always pops up and reminds me to believe.

I wasn't sure I'd like the dress but when I tried it on for the first time I was sold. It's my first and only 50's frock (I hope to add more to the wardrobe).

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your sweet words. You've got nothing to loose in believing in yourself and dreams. X
