2014 Week 4: My Wednesday Style Collective......

Long hot days are still reining supreme around these parts, so some outfits a pulling double duty through the week to keep me cool and stylish. For the last week it's been less about dresses and more about light or easy separates.

This gifted floral skirt which has that vintage a-line feel has seen some action out and about this past week. So here it is two ways, the first way I'm feeling all rather prim and teacher like.
Vintage Blouse: eBay
Modern a-line Floral Skirt: gifted Just Underneath
Wedges: retail
Animal Print Tank: retail
Skirt: as above
Shoes: retail
Flower brooch: made by me

In news Cohen is starting school next week, he will be a Preppie, which also means that this mumma who has slackened in getting dressed early over the summer holidays is going to have to get herself organised pronto.  Where going to be on a pretty tight schedule in the mornings so I may have to start planning outfits the night before, so I'm ready to hit the ground running with my brood.

Do you have a child starting school for the first time next week or kids going back for another year? How are you feeling about it? I'm going to miss Cohen terribly!

As you know - it's all about routine and preparation - you'll be fine and Cohen is going to love school.
Have the best week and enjoy the last few days of having him at home all day !

Oh this humidity is crazy isn't it Trudie?! I've just hung out some washing and had to have my THIRD shower today and it's only 11.33am! Yet you look so lovely, fresh and cool in your beautiful skirt. I would absolutely wear that everywhere, everyday. I've got one son starting Year 12, one starting high school in Year 8 and my daughter in Year 6, her final year of primary, plus it's her school's centenary this year. Absolutely huge for all three of them and of parents of course. I'm coming out in a rash just to think of it. Or maybe that's a heat rash ;). Stay calm love, try and do some bulk cooking for freezer dinners. What with getting ready for school each morning, it's easy to forget the preppies will be tired and grumpy at dinner time. xoxo

Gorgeous skirt from Allison, you look cool and chic. The school run and your morning routine just become the norm after a while, honestly! I really loved it when the kids went to full time school, no tears, no missing them, it's just the natural next step. xxxx

Thanks Hun. I know he will. But I'm going to miss seeing his amazingness during the day. But he is so excited for it and I am excited for him. As for the heat it's stupid hot.

Oh wow a big year for your cherubs, I wish them all well. Yes the heat and humidity are just plain stupid at the moment. As much as I hate having the air-con going all day I have, bubs doesn't cope well with heat poor wee thing.

Groovay skirt....you look smokin hot in that second combo, & I like the unexpected demure look of the first. But I'm DYING to see full pics of that new profile photo here on the blog. You look AMAZING! Xx

You look cool and stylish in this outfits. I liked it very much. I am quite impressed with your unique way of writing. To write, I always used to take help from coursework writing service.
